Following the success of its previous two workshops, Eco-friendly lifestyle shop Bamboa will be hosting its final “Paint your bamboo t-shirt” workshop and competition this coming Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm. Participants will design their own personalised t-shirts, learn about the many amazing properties of bamboo, and compete for a chance to enter the Grand Prize Competition!
Just come with an idea of what you want to paint, and they’ll provide the rest! Participants will be working with bamboo fabric as a sustainable alternative to cotton or polyester, as well as durable textile paint that will last multiple washes so you can bring your sketches to life. Two t-shirt designs from each session will be selected to enter a Grand Prize Competition, where 3 winners will be chosen based on their creativity and design. They will be awarded amazing hampers featuring prizes from Bambao‘s partners.
$100 of the workshop fee will go towards Bamboa’s Grow Bamboo Initiative, which plants bamboo to combat climate change and support rural communities.
